Small Scale Layouts

Furness Model Railway Club has various layouts owned by the club and meet at our club room based on Barrow Island on Monday and Wedensday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm excluding Bank Holidays. If you would like to join our club please get in touch throguh the contacts page.

Swiss Pass

Swiss Pass is HO Gauge  and is 30 foot in length. The layout has been built at 45 degrees. Click here to see more

Coppell
1984 – 1994

Coppell was built to replace Bolden Junction with some stock upto date electronics from 2006 – present. It is built too standard “OO” gauge (16.5mm) track.

Thomas The Tank Engine
00 gauge

This track lets young children drive Thomas and friends when taken to shows and exhibitions. 

Oberfriedhof
1992 – 2008

The name translates “Over the Cemetery” it is a HO gauge track that is 30 foot long and was built at 45 degrees. It uses Metre and standard gauge

Boldon Junction
1988 – 2007

This was based on West coast mainline 1984 – 1994 
It is 00 gauge and 30 foot long and has been sold by the club.

N Gauge
